About

Amanda Archer

Publicist, strategist and founder. Australian by birth, Los Angeles by choice, global by trade.

Portrait of Amanda Archer

I’m an Australian publicist and marketing strategist, based in Los Angeles and working everywhere. For twenty years I’ve moved between Hollywood, the global press and the boardroom, negotiating world exclusives, building profiles and pairing brands with the talent who can move them.

I coordinated the Jackson family’s first interviews after Michael Jackson’s passing, including exclusives with Katherine Jackson for 60 Minutes and Hello!, and Paris Jackson’s world exclusive for EVENT. That work brought me to the United States for good.

Since then I’ve worked with Madonna, Serena Williams, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Elle Macpherson, Lindsay Lohan, Piers Morgan, Tatum O’Neal, Caitlyn Jenner, Abby Lee Miller and Priscilla Presley. My work has appeared in Forbes, the Financial Times, The Sydney Morning Herald, Harper’s Bazaar, People, The Mail on Sunday and Us Weekly, and I’ve produced television interviews for 60 Minutes and A Current Affair.

Causes matter to me too. I’ve led campaigns for Olympian Ian Thorpe’s Fountain for Youth alongside Prince William, and for the Irwin family’s Wildlife Warriors.

Today my clients are founders, chairmen and C-suite leaders as much as brands and talent. They come to me because I’m an insider. I know who to call, I move fast when things go wrong, and I keep a story exactly where it belongs.
